AMATERAS begins making clothes using traditional Japanese techniques.

Located in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, one of Japan's leading textile production areas, Made by a long-established flag maker that has been in business for over 80 years.

The first release is a corset-style tank top and straight pants that can be enjoyed as everyday fashion. Layer it with a long T-shirt or turtleneck for everyday use.

Made from thread dyed in typically Japanese matcha and rice green colors, it features an original pattern reminiscent of modern watercolor paintings.

The jacquard technique is used, in which the bumps and shadows of the thread create a three-dimensional pattern.

Unlike printed fabrics, the pattern is woven into the fabric itself, resulting in a delicate, luxurious finish.
